Can I order a custom color?

Yes! We are able to accommodate a limited number of custom color requests per month depending on the order queue. Custom colors require up to 1-2 weeks to experiment and create. Due to the limitations of nature's color palette we may not be able to achieve every color but feel free to inquire. Please contact us here to request a custom color order. Minimum custom order is 10 yards (2 spools) and a $25 custom fee applies per color.

How are your ribbons made?

All of our ribbons are made in Detroit, Michigan using sustainably sourced fabrics and natural plant dyes. Plant dyes are made from foraged plants, food waste, floral waste and plant concentrates. All ribbon is hand cut, dyed and spooled in our studio with love.

Do you offer samples?

Yes! Please see here for a sample card with many of our color and fabric offerings. Please note color offerings on sample cards are an example of a color family and the ribbon may not exactly match the shade as plant dyes have natural variation. We also offer one yard sample cuttings of all ribbons.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Yes, we offer wholesale to a select number of brick and mortar retail shops feel align with our values and aesthetics. If you are interested in carrying Rosemarine Textiles in your shop, please contact us here.

Are Rosemarine Textiles pieces washable?

Yes! We highly recommend using a pH neutral soap (such as castile soap) to gently hand wash and hanging to dry. Treated properly, all Rosemarine Textiles pieces can last for many years to come.

Where are your dyes from?

We source our dyes from local restaurants (avocado and onion skins, etc), by foraging in the Detroit area (wild berries and flowers), utilize leftover floral arrangements in collaboration with local florists, and from companies that responsibly source plant dye materials.

How much ribbon should I order?

For bridal bouquets we recommend about 3 yards for a small to medium draping effect and 5 yards for a long dramatic drape. On a bridesmaid bouquet we use about 2.5 yards per bouquet - one spool should be enough for two bridesmaid bouquets. Boutonnieres use about 10"-15" of ribbon. For invitations we recommend estimating about 18" per invitation if tying around a card in a bow.
